Meet Our Founder: Ann McFerran
Hi love!
I grew up in Thailand, where strict school rules meant no makeup, no long nails, not even long hair. When I was 7, my mom and I immigrated to California in search of opportunity. Despite feeling out of place in what felt like a foreign world, art and makeup were my true passions.
Fast forward to 2019: I was an artist in a tiny Los Angeles apartment, determined to make glam more effortless with salon-quality products, without the salon price tags. I had no experience, no team, and no investors. And yet, I founded Glamnetic in my one-bedroom apartment, eventually creating the world's first 6-magnet lash.
By 2021, we expanded into press-on nails! I was so sick of expensive, damaging gel manicures that wrecked my nail health. So we developed durable, salon-quality press-ons that mimic the look and thickness of acrylics (without the time, cost, or damage). Customers love them so much, many have left the nail salon behind for good. Now we're the #1 Premium Press-On Nail Brand in North America.
